❝I don’t think I’ll ever get used to having people address me as admiral. Especially not from you, Garrus.❞ She pulls a face at being addressed so formally. It’s another unwanted reminder she’s been trying to avoid. She’s an admiral far from her fleet, even if what she’s doing here with Shepard is for her people, for the entire galaxy.
❝I’m trying not to think about… well, everything. Usually work helps to keep my mind off things, but Adams has kicked me out of engineering again.❞
Garrus nodded. “Yeah, I’m trying to do the same thing. Though, it’s easier for me to try and tune out the war when I’m working. Why would Adams kick you out of engineering?” Several times, the turian had walked in on interesting conversations between Ken and Gabby, the pair goofing off and flirting when they were supposed to be working, but it was rare that he ran into Greg. Why he would force Tali out of there was beyond him, and he hoped that she had been given a good explanation.
“Did you touch his console? He doesn’t like people touching his console.” That sounded way more inappropriate than he intended it to be.
